Oxidation Reduction Reaction! HELP PLZ!!?

I need help on this problem.
For the equation Ag + NO3 - à Ag + + NO
(Note: This reaction takes place in an acidic solution.)

Step 1: What substance is reduced?

Step 2: What substance is oxidized?

Step 3: What is the half reaction for oxidation?

Step 4: What is the half reaction for reduction?

Step 5: What is the net balanced equation?

Step 6: What is the reduced equation?

Answer:
1. Nitrogen
2. Ag
3.Ag -> Ag+ for Oxid
4. NO3 -> NO
5. I dunno
6. Dunno Either
since it is acidic medium i think it is H+ ions that are reduced..... substance that is oxidised is Ag and N......2Ag+NO3.... +NO2......>H2O+NO....
A substance which oxidises others are oxidising agents. These substances itself get reduced .So in this reaction No3- is reduced.A substance which reduces others is a reducing agent,it itself gets oxidised. Here silver is oxidised.
the half reaction for oxidation is
Ag=Ag+ +e-
the half reaction for reduction is
NO3- +4H + +3e-=NO +2H2O
sothe balanced equation is3Ag+NO3-+4H+ =3Ag+ NO +2H2O
