How many electrons will each element gain or lose in forming an ion? The elements are Calcium (Ca), Flourine (F), Aluminum (Al), and Oxygen (O).

Answer:
Ca loses 2 electrons to become Ca2+
F gains one electron to become F1-
Al loses 3 electrons to become Al 3+
O i think it gains 2 electrons
caro is right. Asked my teacher shes 90% sure of it.
