For a better understanding i'm placing question below?

a computer manufacturer received 2 types of computer components in a shipment of 5600 components.type A compon. cost 40.75each &type B cost 0.45each; the total cost of the shipment was $3780. how many of each were in the shipment

Answer:
Let the no. of components A of be x
and the no. of components of B be y.

Then, according to the question;
x+y = 5600
40.75x + 0.45y = 3780

You have 2 linear equations. Solve for x and y and you'll get your answer.
x + y = 5600

x*40.75 + y * .45 = 3780

solve by substitution...
