How do i balance equations?

Answer:
Make a chart.
List all of the atoms being used in the equation on both sides of the chart, fill in the original number of atoms that are there. Start by add 2's and 3's before of the compounds before going to bigger numbers. Remember to make the appropriate changes on the chart you made, but make sure you can still see the last number in case you need to go back and make a change. If there is an element that is standing by itself (like O2 or anything like that) change that element last.
After the number of atoms are equal on both sides, see if you can simplify any of the coefficients.
Make sure each side of the equation (reactants and products) have the same number of atoms of each element.

Subscripts equal coefficients by the way.
