anyone know what temperature the different sorts of body fats melt at? and anyone know at what temperature the outside environment needs to be before the human body can no longer cool itself and actually starts to denature? if you want to be more specific and include humidity as a factor that would be even better. cheers
Answer:
You need to be specific. Body fat on whales is much denser than body fat on humans.
Body fat is also a liquid in humans so it should evaporate at a temperature higher than body temperature.
I don't think it would be a temperature we could bare - probably during cremation.
Well it must have a melting point of below human body temperature as it is a liquid in your body. Most fats are stored as droplets of oil inside fat cells i.e adipose tissue.
