Solutions of NaCl and Pb(NO3)2 are mixed, how many precipitation reactions will there be?

Answer:
Only PbCl2 will precipitate, since it is the only combination that is insoluble. NaNO3 is completely soluble in water.
We must check to see if the opposite pairs of cations and anions are soluble... in this case, NaNO3 and PbCl2. NaNO3 is soluble, but PbCl2 is insoluble. Thus PbCl2 will precipitate and there will be one precipitation reaction.
