How many grams in a tablespoon of water?
Answer:
Canada, New Zeland , the UK and the United States define
1 tablespoon = 15 mL
Since density of water = 1 g / mL
1 tablespoon weights 15 g
1 tablespoon = 15 ml (millilitres)
1 ml = 1 gram
Therefore 1 tablespoon of water = 15 grams
different tabllespoons can have different capacities. Okay i think u need to carry ou an experiment.
y will need a tablespoon, a kitchen weighing machine, a bowl of water, an empty bowl
Collect water from the bowl using the tabllespoon and put the water onto the another bowl on the weing machine. But before you do this get the weight of the bowl without the water in it. Now start moving water from the bowl with water to the bowl on the weighing scale. Keep count of haow many times you do this. Do this a bout 20 times. Record teh final reading of the scale. Now minus this reading with the initial reading(bowl without water). Divide the result you get with 20. Thats the weight of water a tablespoon can occupy.
More... and you have to carry out an experiment in the room which control temperature, gass pressure, and dust
. The contamination, physical properties and physical transfers can lead to and uncontrol error results.
