How many unpaired electrons are there for Cr?

Answer:
Cr is an exception case.
Its electronic configuration is 1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^6 4s^1 3d^5 instead of 1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^6 4s^2 3d^4
Therefore there are 6 unpaired electrons in Cr :- 1 in s orbit and 5 in d orbit
Go to Webelements it is a great periodic table on the internet. I found it is a great site for finding out many of the properties such as unpaired electrons, electron configuration, isotopes, general properties, and compounds.
