Whats the best thing to use in a large bottle rocket? foam? water and air? co2?
Answer:
NASA uses hydrogen peroxide. IT really depends on the bottle size and nozzle characteristics. Do you want it to go high, or lift a large mass? I suggest experimentation.
A neutralisation reaction would be best for home, CO2 would work under high enough pressure but compressed air will be equally effective
Nitrous oxide
Water and caesium - or francium if you can get any
Water and potassium if you're too lame for francium or caesium
petrol and a naked flame
Vodka and a naked flame
Polyclense and a naked flame
etc.
Well mentos and diet coke would work great, or you could try vinegar and baking soda. I would not suggest using cesium or francium in water. It will explode in your face the moment you add it.
Try some bleach powder and coke or bleach powder and brake fluid but be very careful. I'm talking form experience.
