Chemistry Buffer Help!!?

So now, Im in the buffer chapter. They are asking for the pH but not giving me the Ka! How in the world do I solve for these. Two solutions no Ka?

Answer:
You can use a variety of methods depending on how good your math is.

If you are given the concentration you can determine the equilibria and use the quadratic epuation to calculate the pH.

Also you can use the henderson hasselbach equation
pH = pKa = log[Conjugate base]/[Acid]

Also a few other combinations will help you solve for pH depending on what information is given

Ka=Kw/Kb where Kw is 1x10-14
pKa = - log (Ka)
pH =-log[H+]
pOH=-log[OH-]
pH=14-pOH
pOH=14-pH
idk
Look in your book's reference section in the back for the Ka for the molecule in question.
