How to calculate pH value?

[H+]=2*10^-2 M

How do you calculate the pH value of the above?

Answer:
pH = - log [H+]
= - log 2 x 10^-2
= 2 - log 2
= 1.7
pH = log 1/[H+] = log 1/2*10^-2 = log 50 =1.7
The pH value is calculated by the formula:
pH = -lg [H ions]
[H+] = -lg 2*10^-2
=1.69897
= 1.7 ( to 1 dp)
oh my days!...and i thought i knew chemistry :P..
(sorry im no help :P)
Apply the formula:-
pH = -log[H+]
= - log[2*10^-2]
Do the clculation as followed in ur country.
