Can ?? A 10 kt gold ring bend without any force??

My daugher has been wearing the same ring form 4 years. One day she went to school and reached to open the door and felt a pinch on her ring finger???To her amazement the ring was totally bend out of shape.Would anyone know how this could happen? ty

nothing gets bent without force.
lol. she was probably growing or doing something everyday that was slowly warping it. then she probably looked down and realized, oh **. or she couldve hit it on something and not have realized and then noticed it as bent when it pinched her.


she could jsut be lying to you to cover up the fact that she smashed it, or someone else smashed it, because she doesnt want to get in trouble. thats what most kids would do.
