What is the result of a reaction between potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of acid?

Answer:
the equation is-
2KMnO4(aq) + 3H2SO4(aq) + 5H2O2(aq)----->K2SO4(aq) + 2MnSO4(aq) + 8H2O(l) + 502(g)

the purple colour of permangante is decolourised and changes to the pale pink colour of manganese (II)

the ionic equation is-
2MnO4- (aq) + 3H+ (aq) + 5H2O2(aq)-----> 2Mn2+ (aq) + 8H2O(l) + 502(g)

K2SO4 is removed as the spectator ion.
this is a method of producing oxygen in the LAB.
Potassium permanganate is reduced to Mn2+ by acidic H2O2
