Who were all the major scientists that contributed to the development of the theory of the atom?

i really need this ASAP!

thanks!

Answer:
Democritus
Dalton
Bohr
Schrodinger
Arnold Sommerfeld
Max Born
Heisenberg
I have taught that the credit for the atomic theory usually is credited to Dalton. The Greeks had an idea with regards to the elements but it was Dalton who put into words what an atom is. Added to that, we have Chadwick, Rutherford, JJ Thomson.
