Sodium acetate apple cider vinagar + bakeign soda?

will it still work? my mom baught the wrong kind

Answer:
It should still work. Baking soda will react with most acids, which is why it is included in a number of old heartburn remedies.
probably not.
So what did she buy? Baking Powder? Different kind of vinegar?
Yes, it will still work. Pickeling vinegar is about 4% acetic acid. Apple cider vinegar has a higher percentage of acetic acid than pickling vinegar, so all systems go!
It will smell nice. Cider vinegar is still acetic acid but it has other stuff in there. Pickling vinegar would have been better as it is stronger but it will still work.
