What is the Role of analytical Chemistry and classification of analytical methods?

Answer:
Analytical chemistry is very important. It is used to find the purity of substance such as aspirin(which is not very good for you if not pure), find the alcoholic content of your favorite legal beverage. They also use it to find the formulas of complex organic compounds. The entire oil industry depends on it as well.

As for methods, most commons these days are instrumental analysis. This uses machines such as IR spectrophotometers, gas chromatograph, mass specs, flame ionizers. This just a small list. Also you have classical methods. Some of these include titrations, volumetric analysis, flame tests, and the list goes on.

I hope this helps you.
Immense, Analysis is required to determine the presence, composition and purity of a substance among other things.
