I need help with these pH and pOH problems please??

The pH of a solution that is 5.8 x 10–3 M in hydrogen ions is: A 2.2 B 11.8 C 5.8 D 1.2

The pOH of a solution that has a pH of 4.7 is:
A 10.3 B 9.3 C 7.3 D 3.3

Answer:
just use the log equations for both pH and use the reverse log equation for the pOH problem.
it's really simple.
1 A
2 B
the log equation is...

-log[H+]

or

-log[H3O]

*The brackets indicate the concentration
*some chemists use the hydronium ion- it is the same as the hydrogen ion- either formula works-
