What's the most harmful element on the periodic table to our Earth and humans?

Answer:
Mercury is one of them
The heavier elements are radioactive. There mostly man made. Does that tell you something.
Arsenic's pretty bad but I'm sure there are worse ones.
I agree that man-made elements are often harmful. But more people die every year from exposure to natural elements simply because the man-made ones are rather scarce.

All elements are potentially harmful and potentially useful. Questions like these really have little substance.
polonium 210
Radon causes lots of lung cancer cases, so must be pretty high on the mortality ranking.
mercury
eat elemental sodium. when it reacts with your stomach acid, and water... instant explosion
Probably plutonium, which both a chemical and radioactive poison. This makes trying to build weapons out of the stuff a real challenge.
