Physical and Chemical changes?

Answer:
I assume you want to know the difference.

A physical change is reversible to it's original state, a chemical change is not and forms a new substance.

For example, you can freeze water into a solid and then melt it back into a liquid. it goes back to the way it was, that is a physical change.

If you burn wood, it turns into ash. You cannot reverse it back into wood again. That is a chemical change.
What about them?
Heres an example of each

Physical change: You drop glass on the floor and it breaks.

Chemical Change: You leave milk out too long and it sours.

Get it? In the first one, the glass is still glass, just broken. In the second the milk changes its chemical composition and gets chunky and sour.
PHYSICAL CHANGES: those changes which are reversible in nature and do not affect the chemical composition of the object undergoing it ;eg- melting
CHEMICAL CHANGES: those changes which are irreversible and cause a change in chemical nature of the substance undergoing it. eg-burning of wood.
Physical change is easy to undo. Moving an object from one place to another is a physical change. Melting Ice is also a physical change, it can be undone by refreezing the water.
Burning wood it a chemical change. A chemical change occurs when you end up with different substances that you started off with. Melting ice is not a chemical change because water is the same substance as ice the only diffrence is temperature. When you burn something you release energy (heat, light) and you get new substances (smoke, carbon). You can't un-burn something the way you can re freeze it.
A physical change is a change in size, shape, state or solution. You still have the same material.

A chemical change is a change in the chemical bonds where a compound is made or decomposed or ions switched. You have a new material.
