Chemistry word problem?

Calculate the hydronium ion concentration and the hydroxide ion concentration in blood, the pH of which is 7.3 (Slightly alkaline).?

Answer:
Hydronium is H+.

Hydroxide is OH-.

pH = 7.3
pH is a logarithmic scale, so the concentration of H+ is 10 raised to the negated pH.
[H+] = 10^-7.3

pOH = 14 - 7.3 = 6.7
[OH-] = 10^-6.7
[H+] = 10^-7.3 = 5.012 x 10^-8

[OH-] = 1.995 x 10^- 7
