How could i produce a rose with the color black?

any method will do. i want to give it as a gift..somebody adviced me to use organic dyes.

Answer:
Blac roses do not grow naturally. If you cut the roses and put the stems into dyed black water the die will travel up the zylem into the petals and dye it black. Don't use and sort of paint/varnish because it will cause the plant to shrivel and die in a few days
Why don't you pain spray it black? Or are you too lazy?
i saw an article with some beautiful black or nearly black flowers last year in the la times. maybe u could try that website. those flowers were amazing
Hey, that's pretty cool.
if you used dyes in the water it should change the color, paitingit would be quicker though
You can buy black roses, although they are actually more of a dark crimson.
