How to prepare solution 0.5N hcl of 1000ml from hcl solution which is d=1.19g/ml %37(%w)?

Answer:
your HCl is 1190g for each Liter
37%/w is HCl the rest is water.
so 1190*0.37= 440.3g of HCl for each liter
now calculate the moles 440.3/36.5= ~12 mole/liter so 12 N

so to obtain 0.5 N dilute 1 volume to 24.

easy isn't it ?

If you need more precision, you need to titrate the diluted solution.
It's wrong to do more precise calculations, because concentrated HCl change concentration during time just by opening the bottle. (HCl is a gas dissolved in water)
