Is the Lower class slowly over populating the middle class?

The Lower income families have always been bigger in number than the middle class, and the middle class has been bigger than the rich. Middle class families are a mixture of all other classes, but mostly offsprings of ex-lower income and middle class' parents .
A lot of lower income families send their children to college even when the parents had not attended college themselves. These children have moved on to pursue the American Dream that their parents couldn't attain.
So the reason you are choosing to have no children is because you've made a conscious decision of not compromising your economical situation of today. You are not alone in this, as there are a lot of other people connecting the dots between economics and children.
No here is what is happening. More and more "middle class" of becoming poor.
i doubt it because you can't just assume the lower class kids arent going to do anything with their life.. i know a guy from watts going to yale and and other people from LA in inner city schools who are going to the east coast IVY leagues and their in really "bad" schools... there are many outreach programs for teens and youth these days that help them get to college... so no i don't think the lower class is going to take over... because the ppl that leave from these places and get an education come back to help their community.
Yes, that's why welfare doesn't work. You want to have and take care of your children within a family structure. That's a completely different concept than people that could care less if they bring children into this world because they don't have to or plan to take care of them anyway. Don't forget to look at the future of this situation. Since the government takes so much of your taxes that you can currently only afford to have let's say 2 children, raise them properly and educated them. If the class that doesn't care what happens to their children grows and the state has to take more taxes to support these people than soon they'll have to take more money from you and that number of 2 children will soon become 1.
There was a 60 minutes or 20/20 type show about the housing developments in Chicago. Part of the show described some men that have a harem of women that want to get pregnant to increase their welfare checks. The man visit them on the appropriate days and if a child is born they get a percentage of the welfare check for the first 2 years. This is a business for some people. Disgusting. This sounded more like breeding cattle and a way has to be found to stop this.
The Democrat party is furious about the war on terror and thinks it doens't work and needs to be ended immediately yet the war on poverty has been going on for over 40 years and has created a significantly higher percentage of single family homes, drug abuse, alcoholism, reliance on the state, etc. etc. and they don't think it's time for this war to end. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton along with most Democrats have helped this situation by telling everyone that's poor or has other issues that it isn't their fault. If people believe it's not their fault then they can't do anything to correct the problem because they are in control so they don't try to fix the problem and the problem persists. These people that get money continue to vote for those that give them money so the job security answer for the Democrat party is obvious. It's also obvious that they don't want anyone like Bill Cosby pointing logic out to everyone because that's contrary to a welfare state.
There is a fallacy in your argument. You assume that a person from a poor family will grow up to be poor. If there is good access to education, then there is no reason for that person to be locked into poverty. In fact, education is one of the keys to economic development.
theres some dumb idea going around for a long time which is poor, middle and rich class and people following it to determine their destiny of how many kids the average middle class have in babies. what should occur is that they just keep it in current income earning levels as from 0-20k, 20k to 100k, and 100k and above. define your own life.
The middle class is simply poor people with jobs and many are losing theirs.
