Why are consumers exploited in india??

reasons why they are exploited and how they are exploited.. what are the actions taken by the government and public??

Answer:
Consumers in India pay high prices for many products because of a lack of competition. The McKinsey Global Institute has done an excellent study of the Indian economy that shows why Indian companies have higher costs and are less efficient compared to companies in developed countries. This is because they face little competition and thus have little incentive to be more efficient.
cheap labour,,,, no actions
The Indian government has, I believe, loosened the restraints on their markets(deregulated) over the last few years. That should ease the burden.
