India has gained immensely from being a society that is inclusive religiously and politically its wealth generation is due to this.
It is a much stronger society because of this.
A great example of a Country having members from every Country in the World living and working in it is the UK, which has gained enormously from this.
The way to tackle any terrorism is by tackling Poverty which in itself means Open Trade and job creation. The Muslim world must be included and encouraged to trade in all forms, the elimination of poverty is paramount ?

Umm what prosperity? Didn't mother Theresa live in Calcutta because it was one of the poorest places in the world. And whats this about India being inclusive they have a caste system that is discriminatory to certain portions of the population. They are also notorious for having a corrupt form of Government and actually have industries set up of people the wealthy hire to wait in lines for them and bribe their way through bureaucratic red.
As far as terrorism goes, India suffers many terrorist attacks every year from Muslims supporting the Independence of Kashmir. India is also very hostile towards Pakistan. Not exactly the best model for the US in terms of peace love and inclusiveness.
