Which Country has the best water supply?
Answer:
Ireland
Switzerland
United States, probably
canada
Depends where in the country but water in europe sucked everywhere.
So probably United States, Colorado or something
If you are talking about supply versus quality, I think the US is up there in terms of quantity. Quality? I seriously doubt it is the US. It is probably Switzerland where they have pristine lakes and lots of snow that melts every year. One of the worst in quality is Mexico, where they have no sewage system and the waste is pumped directly into the ocean... eww... and then the current takes it north to California, which is one of the reasons why the ocean in Southern CA if so bad. By the way, Australia has been in a serious drought for years now and they have been warned that they will RUN OUT OF FRESH WATER in approximately 18 months. Now, THAT would worry me. They are not allowed to water plants except for a short time during the evening and no car washing or things like that. But, they are working very hard on alternatives and will probably surpass all the others who are trying to find other methods of obtaining fresh water. We worry about the cost of gas and they are going to be paying a whole lot more just for fresh water to drink. Think about that... how scary!
Depends if you mean best quality or most water.
You find it hard to go past New Zealand for best water.
Most ... ooooh that's hard ... maybe one of the permanently frozen ones . England :-) ... or perhaps norway, iceland, or then again perhaps one of the african or south american equatorial countries . go with the republic of the congo or brazil ... oh or perhaps New Guinea
Oh. just noticed the answer above ... Australia has just had MAJOR floods down the Eastern Seaboard ... that problem is over but it was starting to get a bit scary. Now the challenge is changing the habits to suit a very dry climate (in the best country in the world though ...)
