Econometrics project??

i have an econometrics project to be submitted. my lecturer has asked us to look for a data on anything we like and then come up with a model. the data will later be used with the eviews software etc. any ideas on wht data i should look up on? sorry if it lacks info. i'm new to this so i don't really know much. thanks in advance :)

Answer:
how about:
get data on local wetland areas, local pop growth, local econ growth. you can look at 1 year for many counties in a state, or 1 county many years. you could model that the change in wetland areas is caused by pop growth and econ growth.

or

you could model median house cost, caused by local air quality (from epa website), local econ growth, local pop growth. again county by county for 1 year or 1 county or state for many years.

economics is the study of anything that involves human choices. pick something(anything) you like and decide why do people choose that and get the data. it can be revealing and interesting.
good luck
what exactly is it about? i have heard of economics, but not econometrics.. the ones i've studied include supply and demand, value of time, maslow's hierachy of needs, that sort of thing

sorry if i'm not helping but your question is quite vague
since we are in the computer age, why don't you study internet growth, text messaging, things like those.
yes, I have studied econometrics and was rewarded grade B+..neways you can collect data of taxes received by a govt. during a fiscal year. or lets say total sales of a product from the year 1990 to 2000, how about inflation rates?

later on you will be required to run regression analysis and all...
I'm using another computer, on my other pc i had the exact project. I would had send it to you but. ummm you can collect the data on female students studying in your country from 1990 to 2000 or any year i mean..
