Is SIBOR interest rates (chg of movement) linked to STI movement?

Answer:
SIBOR is Singapore Interbank offer rate: it is based on a few major banks interest rates charged on short-term unsecured loans. This rate is not linked to the stock market or stock market Index. But the movement in SIBOR can affect the stock market sentiments and hence the Stock/ Share price index and vice versa.
Sibor rates are based on the interest rates charged to unsecured loans in Singapore. It has nothing to do with the stock market.
