Im planning to do a learnership in America in the Hospitality industry
Salary would be $1750 and Housing $300 included with the learnership
It is in the Ketchum, Idaho
or Greenwich, Connecticut
Im from South Africa and I would like to know if this would be enough?

Answer:
You would be comfortable in Idaho with that salary, but it will be tough to live in Connecticut.

According to the cost of living calculator at CNN, the cost of living is about 25% higher in Conn.
