Why are it systems and statistics important for organisations?

Answer:
companies need statistics etc for they're sales teams; to see which items need more advertising or dropped completely.
they're finance to see what position the company are in; ie can they afford more/less staff, do they need to seek more backing.
management; so they know if they can award themselfs a big xmas bonus

all in all to allow the company to make the greatest profit margin, without going bankrupt whilst anticipate and serve the publics need to the best of its resources. after all if no-one wants to buy it whats the point?
hope i was helpful?
