Eco friendly means materials,and bye products of the articles which donot pollute and harm our environment.Our present refrigerators and air conditioners use freon gas for cooling.This gas leaks into air and causes damage to the ozone layer protecting the earth.Simlarly.cars which use petrol and diesel leave smoke which are dangrrous for human health.
If we use ammonia for cooling it is better and ecofriendly.Similarly battery operated cars are eco friendly because they dont leave any pollution behind.
All durables which use plastics are not ecofriendly,because they are not bio degradable ie,they dont break down by bacteria and remain forever as junk.
We have any number of examples that are ruining our planet earth.Mostly the so called civilised people use them more and damage our planet.
Consumer durables can be ecofriendly in two ways: When it is working, it does not emit gases which damage our atmosphere. Secondly, when it is disposed of, it decays well into earth in a specified time, without releasing any dangerous remains.
