This was a big part of the market downturn and 9-11 which saw 8 trillion $ get wiped out of the USA economy. Housing was the savior of the economy. As that has cooled everything else has grown to take its place. The stock market is on a fun ride from all the liquidity. It is like 1927 all over again.
