Which energy do you think is more suitable for the Philippines to use? Wind, Solar or Fossil Fuel? Why?

Needed for homework.

Answer:
OK pure and simple....we shouldn't use anymore fossil fuels, as this produces high carbon emissions which kills the ozone layer and our earth. wind from memory Philippines is not a very windy place except maybe down the bottom islands around the shores...but Philippines is a very hot place and has lots of good sun as it is close to the equator. so solar power would be best....Philippines has a high carbon emission and when you are there if you wipe you face with a white cloth it will be filled with a oily dirt. and so to with your nose it gets full with this filth black muck that is really gross..it is so hot and sticky. and so full of filthy pollution thanks to world economics.
All of the above - depending on the current and future costs and benefits. The economic viability will vary from place to place. For instance, solar power may be economical in remote villages without central grid connection (enough for lighting, radio, etc. ) Other energy sources are: nuclear, geothermal (lots of it in the Philippines), biomass. For transport the most economical is still fossil fuel, but yes I agree that alternatives technologies should be rapidly developed.
