Do you like my economics metaphor?

Humans = Mice
Work = Maze
Money = Cheese

hmmm...If the mouse finishes a bigger maze he gets rewarded more cheese...

Answer:
If it was anything that could remotely be considered new or creative it might be ok but the term "rat race" has been around... apparently longer than you think.

A better metaphor would be 2 rats running in the maze and come upon a trap. Rat 2 pushes rat 1 into the trap and then gets the cheese so he can finish the race. He blames the cat becomes rat CEO and gets a fat payout from the board.
Not really
