What the world is going to be like when Brazil, Russia, India, and China become the most important economies?

I came with an open mind to answer this question but some ignorant dude was rambling about internal fights, lack of R&D and whatever. I am an Indian studying in London so my anwer is goin to be India and EU centric,
Your question is would "Developing countries" have problems with "Developed world" once becoming more powerful. Yes they would, power begets paranoia. Would you like to be pushed around by some one you grew pushing around? Learn to adjust which many people in these "Developed" countries find hard to do.
About that other guys's false assumptions, I bet he is an american who hasn't been to any of the above mentioned countries. No developed country is self sufficient, they buy or steal oil from other countries, mid east and Central Asian countries mainly.
R&D for what? Making super bombs?? As compared to "Developed Countries" No we don't and I hope we never will, we do have good educational and other general infrastructure which we are in the process of improving. No wonder so many scientists from India are working at NASA and other highly specialised institutes all over the world. So many Indian Doctors and Engineers are making a decent contibution to their adopted homes, do you think that they all studied or did their research abroad?
"Be ALWAYS dependant on Developed nations?" Is that wishful thinking? Give me an example!!

BRIC countries will rule the world for sometime. US, EU, Japan would like BRIC country to grow. They will create internal fights, stimulate insurgents etc and will try their best to maintain thier position. This is history and I am saying as what happened until now.
BRIC countries, except Russisa donot have sound R&D and energy resources. Hence they will always be dependant on the developed nations. BRIC will suppliment developed nations and will not be a problem to the big names

But Brazil, Russia, and especially China need to uphold the value and dignity of individual human life, and learn to respect property-rights, without which you cannot have human rights. No matter where you go, even when you're on your own land in China, the government treats you like a trespasser. Watch the government seize and tear down ancient homes, all in the name of "capitalism", which is really still communism. It's still tribalistic bullying. India, I have more faith in. They seem like very nice, intelligent people. I would love to debate Clown-uno, you're wrong on several of your points. You've been to all of these countries, have you? We Americans are MORE open-minded- not LESS- due to our lack of culture and tradition. Your stock-market is still controlled by astrology. Please!
The world would be a better and safe place to live.
there would be more political talk. almost everyday, and countries will eventually unite to form bigger economies such that one day the earth is united under 1 government.
one hopes that these countries will ensure a peaceful world
but there is going to be strife if they engage into power struggle
thats because they will be hungry for share in economy, energy and military resources
no country will stay powerful for long so there are bound to be some problems sometime in future
The world will be more Brazilian, Russian, Indian, and Chinese.
They'll be so caught up with their own economies, they won't have time for any other countries' economic problems.
This is not going to happen.You must have strong civilised
societies to become important economies.
You must have resources to feed your population.
You must have internal demand in the economy'
You must increase the level of education in the country.
Russia and China are bit ahead in the race.
I do not find any future for India.The Indian society will
explode in 20 to 30 years.
