What is a payoff matrix?

Answer:
from a game theory, it shows the payoff you get for the choice you make and the choice your opponent makes. its about choosing the best choice out of the worst choice.

ie,look at the 2 worst choices for me, and decide what then would be the best choice out of them?

it doesnt work from choosing the worst out of the best, or the best out of the best, nor the worst out of the worst.
getting pay by getting off from work
it's a table.

you got your actions down the rows, and actions of your opponent across the columns.

And each cell in a table contains the money ("payoff") you receive given your action and and opponet's action.
