What political, economic, and soical conditions led to political revolutions in the first global age?

Answer:
Economic: Massive inflation on the continent of Europe. This was caused by the influx of gold from the Spanish colonies in Latin America. Other countries were forced to create colonies to try and keep up (they could not). Inflation helped cause the French revolution because the common people could no longer afford bread.

Political: The rise of exteremely authoritarian, absolute monarchs. Their autocratic rule made the people miserable at exactly the same time that ideas of freedom and democracy were spreading. (Physiocrats)

Hope this helps!
Good luck
