Is the economy in the US jeopardizing your lifestyle financially? Who do you blame if so?

Answer:
You live in the most productive and wealthy economy on earth. Blaming someone for that is a tad insensitive.
i blame myself for not being more stingy earlier in life. It is going to be difficult to get out of this hole. if ever. it would help to win a lottery.
No.

If you think things are tough in the United States, please realize something. There is a reason there are 13 million illegal immigrants here. A poor life here is better than a good life in almost any other country. Don't even think of trying to blame Bush or whoever for having a rough life because you don't.
I blame the real estate vultures who are intentionally jacking up the cost of housing and local city halls for reevaluating the property tax forcing life long residents out of their neighborhoods and preventing average people from achieving the American dream.
Definitely not. The United States continues to have the most vibrant economy in the world, year in and year out.

Of course, there are places where the economy is growing faster (i.e. China), but it doesn't mean that other economies are necessarily better. Most are just trying to catch up.

We are very fortunate in the United States: public education is available to one and all; universities and the government cooperate to further research and technology; and we continue to be the benchmark internationally as the world's largest economy.

If you have any doubts, do some research into the economies of other countries. They all have problems, and almost all of them are worse off than the United States, for reasons varying from size and education levels to trade policies and shaky institutions.

In short, there are lots of things that might be jeopardizing your financial reality, but the US economy is not one of them.
