Do you agree with the following statement? “If you like tacos, you should consume as many as you can.”?

Answer:
No, this is not a true statement. Due to the law of diminishing returns, each taco you consume will be less useful than the previous one. Eventually, if you eat enough tacos, they will begin to have negative utility. For instance, this could be when you have become so full that eating another taco causes you to become sick. This taco obviously wasn't very useful, as it lowered the total utility of the previous tacos that you ate. Thus, consuming as many as you can is not a true statement.
i agree whole heartedly
I really like burritos better.
Disagree. Unless they are free. If I like tacos and they are free I will consume as many as I can. But not really even then, I would consume them until I don't have the desire to eat another bite. My desire will drop as stated in the law of diminishing marginal utility. When the marginal utility of tacos becomes zero I won't consume them.

But in your example, I like tacos, and I probably like other things. Like pizza. So I am likely to check the prices and my marginal utility and consume tacos until the marginal utility reduces below the price of pizza. So say Monday I eat Tacos, Tuesday I eat Tacos, Wednesday I eat Tacos, Thursday I am sick of Tacos and wont eat another for the rest of the month. I eat pizza all weekend.
