What do you mean "has more money"? I am not sure how you came to this conclusion but I find it hard to believe that Japan has more money in any category that The United States. But yes China will have the largest economy in the world in about 5 years. Right now there economy is growing by 10-15% a year so in theory they will have the "most money" in the world. But you have to remember that the US GDP is around 13 trillion dollars, and there is no way that any country can be 15 times as large. For example the entire EU has a GDP of about 13 trillion dollars any they contain 3 of the worlds top 5 largest economies. China makes about 10 trillion dollars GDP a year and Japan is about 4 trillion. But there is no "official" way to decide who has the most money but most people agree that GDP is the best way to decide who has the "most money in the world".
