What are consumer forums?

There is an enactment called Consumers Protection Act and the Forums have been created thereunder to hear complaints of consumers against vendors/manufacturers/service providers for redressal of consumers grievances. These are at District, State and National levels. If you had indicated your area/place of residence, it would have been possible to indicate the nearest Forum where you could lodge a complaint.
