Pure public goods and pure private goods?

Answer:
A pure private good is excludable and rival, meaning you can exclude anyone from taking it, and once you consume it, no one else can. The bread you are at breakfast is a pure private good. A pure public good is Non-rival and non-excludable, meaning you cant exclude people from using it and if you use it, you are not preventing someone else from using it as well. An example of this is fresh air. However, these are just theoretical concepts. Someone might argue that suffocating someone is excluding him from using fresh air.
