thats a loaded question. its all gotten too techno. the majority of supervisors that ive seen have never really done the job. that makes them unqualified to analyze. that creates friction, and rightfully so. supervisors of today are stupid, for the most part, and shouldnt be where they are. most people know their jobs, they dont need to be told what to do. you would be surprised at how much a pat on the back and a complement will do for self esteem. i think what they forget is the employees are human beings and individuals..unless the person who does the analysis has done the job, it really means nothing.
