Someone can invade our space to bully and intimidate. We can either submit (give in), use an antithesis (neither submit or give in by matching their response), or escalate the situation (giving a bigger response to the intimidation). The latter will involve moving into their space and stamping on their feet. To me, proxemics can indicate levels of power one can demonstrate. This can continue until someone gets killed.
