Wealth Question?

Besides, financial and time freedom, what determines wealth?
Is IQ a big part of it?

Answer:
I'd say wealth has more to do with resourcefulness, industriousness, enterprising ability, risk taking, ability to work with others and financial and investment literacy.

I know many with a high IQ and low net worth because they have a deficit in one or more of these areas.

Dr. Stanley's books, "The Millionaire's Mind" and "The Millionaire Next Door" offer great insights into the characteristics of the wealthy.
In the end, when the grand tally is in; to have given more than you took is what constitutes true wealth---wealth of spirit.
Appreciation is relative isn't it. The empoverished third world child might find greater satisfaction with the simple 'luxury' of clean water than the millionaire finds in an unexpected windfall.
Don't forget peace of mind.
wealth is your total assets. If you feel prefer higher IQ, then your IQ level is an asset and investing in higher IQ will raise your wealth.

I suspect that IQ is actually endogenous, partially determined by wealth.
