Why is it that when the price of a funeral goes up its blamed on the cost of living?
Answer:
i do not really know.but i am dying to find out.but if the costs keep going up it could have grave results.
Every price increase can be traced to the price of living.

Because in every business the high cost of living 'trickles up'.
So, in the funeral business they are now having to pay more for everything because;
Gas is up.
Materials to make coffins is up.
Employees want health insurance & that is up.
Every cost from the bottom rung of the ladder is up therefore the funeral cost is higher.
