Should America's health care system be completely socialized?
Answer:
I vote yes. And someday, when I retire, I will be moving to a country in Europe that does just this - if the US doesn't get it in gear!
However, for nay-sayers I think a compromise of all get healthcare for a price is reasonable. Sliding scale. And it would of course, have to be level across the board so as to not place the burden on middle-class blue collar workers.
Though with is you also call into question the insurance sector - covering costs of malpractice, liability, etc. as well as the doctor fees which they need to make a buck.
no but you all can adopt the canadain system, then everyone in the US, will be able to see a doctor and get medical help.
you mean, along with everything else? we might as well get something out of it.
If you don't mind your federal taxes doubling or tripling over time without your ability to have any say in the matter. Americans already work some 5 months of the year to pay taxes before they can lay claim to the rest of their pay.
Better answers are needed.
No. I think there are problems that need to be fixed, but socializing heal care is not the answer. I think it is thinking inside the box. The only solutions are not socializing health care or leaving it the way it is. We should fix the specific problems with our health care system rather than changing it to another system that is equally flawed.
