Privatization of education is neglecting socialresponsibility?

Answer:
If you refer to elementary and secondary school, not at all. Privatization ideas that I'm aware of (eg, vouchers) still accept the idea that the public should pay for education -- it's simply a question of how best to use those funds to provide the best possible education for the most people. It's a terrible neglect of social responsibility when teacher's unions and sympathetic politicians constantly show such contempt for children when they fight the idea merely for the continued benefit of teachers.
Education in AUstralia stopped being about education about 10 years ago. Now it doesnt matter what score you get to get in, what matters is if you have cash upfront as you can enrol and pay and be anything you want to be!
