What are the livelihood activities of the Filipinos before the Spanish Era?
Can you give me some informations too on some tools and equipments they use in farming?
Answer:
I know nothing about the history of the Philippines. However, I expect that life before the Spanish conquest was like life in many other pre-industrial societies.
Most people were subsistince farmers. This means that they grow only what they consumed. They may have moved their farms from place to place as the fertility of their soil was depleted. This is sometimes called slash and burn farming.
Even more primative people may have relied almost entirely on killing animals and harvesting wild plants and fruits. They are known as "hunters and gatherers" and did not engage in settled agriculture.
