Are you aware that Christian Conservatives, regardless of income level are the most generous?

The so called uncaring Conservatives are more generous by a large percentage then the so called caring Liberals. That the most giving are the working poor and the very rich, leaving the middle class as the cheap skates. Red States tend to be more poor but give a higher percentage of their income then blue states.

Did you watch 20/20?

Answer:
Yes, I watched the program. Tends to re-affirm the hypocrisy of the Liberal banter.

Andrixia..you must of been sleeping or hiding in your Liberal panic room
I watch it and never believe it.
No I didn't but that is something I did not know
I Toally agree, Liberals are nothing more than a headache. Good info conservatives are the true Americans!
I knew that and no I haven't watched 20/20.
yes, no
They're also the most manipulative -- trying to espouse their religious doctrine into government. I'd wager that most would do so conditionally, giving to faith-based organizations and hopefully to avoid serving at a soup kitchen.

Did you ever watch the 700 Club?
I was not. I was going to watch but watched medium instead. Thanks for the cliff notes!
:-)
Is there some site I can go to so I may see these statistics for myself, please?
I just watched 20/20 and I dont believe anything you stated was on that program. They said nothing of conservatives vs. liberals. They said nothing of the "red states". Are you sure you watched the same program?
I didn't see 20/20 tonight but I have seen this info before. I wish there was away to make people realize "WE" put our money where our mouth is.
OK.., but that is debatable..., Actually, a good chunk of the Christian Conservative / religious are quite wealthy,,, so u talking of Quality,, NOT Quantity of people.
They are usually pious and non drinkers. and belong to some Church / Evangelist Group
No I have not, so I'm not quite sure of the of the accuracy of your statement. It doesn't mean that I wouldn't believe it, though. Christian Conservatives, I noticed, aren't well liked. However, though I am neither Conservative nor Liberal, I would choose to be in the presence of a Conservative. I've met too many liberals who are in favor of protecting the rights of a lot of religions (or any lack of religions), yet talk down about Christians. Which is, in a way, hypocrisy. If one is so adamant on protecting the rights of minority groups (religions, races, orientation, ect.) but turns around and spouts nothing but hate for another group that is larger, they lose all credibility to me.
All republicans are not Christian conservatives. You're making an assumption.
Giving to what? I think the allegation you're attempting to make is absurd. I like to see the facts to support that idea. If you're talking about what's tithed at churches you might be correct in a gross sense, but I wonder even then. There are many way's to give, and though I agree that money is the easiest, it's certainly not the only measurement.
I beleive it. Its only natural. The way they are raised. Problem is that they cant seem to think out of the box. Labels labels labels. When I see you type conservative I think Republican. Im confused. Doesnt a conservative person conserve money and resources? Wow now Im really confused because I am extremely conservative and the last time I voted Republican was 1980. Stop the labels and look at the person. I have never seen anything as absurd as tacking these two words together.
I believe it is true because donations to churches make up a large portion of donations to charity. But donating to your church is not as charitable as people think-you get something in return for the donation like spiritual comfort so it is more like buying an admission ticket.

Churches are less regulated and they do not publish information about what they do with their money, one must take their word.Poor people make bad choices, they donate to charity instead of treating their house for termites which feels good now but that money misdirected will be expensive later.

Blue states believe government can do some things churches do so they focus on that path and obviously do not support the other which is not mean just a different recipe. The rich start foundations and direct the money to areas they decide are worthy which may not be correct.Foundations donate to think tanks which do not help needy people but promote the ideology of the donor.

If people are so generous then there is no need for a tax deduction as an incentive.Churches should pay taxes because they tell us to render unto Caesar so they should set a good example.

Alot of money is donated to churches but it is spread around to alot of churches so there is not much per church.I knew people in religion with part time jobs at minimum wage and churches run daycare centers to pay the utility bills. My mother donates beans to the church and eats steak and she expects a front row seat in Heaven.
